Our venue was the wonderful Trinity College. Right at the heart of the city of Dublin, Trinity is a university steeped in history, with a distinguished philosophical tradition. At Trinity, George Berkeley first conceived of his idealism, so it seemed fitting for our workshop!
The workshop was mainly an in-person one. We aimed at making it as enjoyable as possible for all delegates and participants. Trinity’s campus is peaceful and immersed in nature. The building that hosted the workshop, namely the Arts Building, is accessible. There are accessible toilets on all floors, and the entrance to the coffee dock on level 1 is on level access. Platform and passenger lifts were available for all delegates and participants, leading to the room of the event, namely the TRiSS Seminar Room, on the 6th floor of the Arts Building.
We consciously decided to limit the number of daily talks to 5, as to guarantee lengthy and restoring breaks, which were used to eat and drink something, or relax in the natural setting of the campus.
